Guam
Guam is a dive destination for all; young, old, couples, singles, you name it. I spent a week in Guam for residency purposes and had the time of my life. Between the marine life filled diving, seductive scenery, wonderful people, and delicious food you will never want to leave.
Two dive spots that are a must; a two wreck dive which has a German WWI submarine and a Japanese WWII ship touching at exactly 100 feet, and Guam's version of the Blue Hole which drops down past 100 feet.
On the German and Japanese two wreck dive you can physically reach out with your left and right hands at the same time and touch a wreck from two different eras of history. This is a definite photo opportunity you do not want to miss. The "Blur Hole" is another picture perfect moment especially as you desend down into the hole and look up towards the surface you can see how the opening of the hole creates a heart silhouette. What a great photo that would make with you and your loved one in the center of the hole looking down.
The marine life was optimal with white tip sharks, turtles, manta rays, barracuda, and a plethora of reef fish. On the "Blue Hole" dive alone we saw a white tip as we were desending and on the safety stop returning a turtle cruised by.
When your fins are dry head to Two Lovers Point for the best view on the island.
