I recently visited St Croix for work, but because of my line of work being involved with the cruise lines, I was able to squeeze in 7 dives. I dove with St Croix Ultimate Bluewater Adventures (SCUBA) and had an excellent experience.

First off their location is perfect near the dock at Christiansted. Their boats are really nice and comfortable and they really emphasize safety both above and under the water. I had coordinated with them in advance, since I wanted to dive the famous Frederiksted Pier at night since I had read amazing reviews about it. It did live up to its expectations and because it's a shallow dive I was able to enjoy 110 minutes underwater and got out because it was getting too cold. I still had air left for another half hour at least!

The other days I dove with them on their boat from Christiansted. The staff of Captains, DM's and owners, Capt. Ed and Molly, are all amazing, nice and extremely accommodating. I felt at home diving with them and was able to capture several good images during the many dives.

The marine life is abundant, although not as abundant as other places I've been. And the 4-star rating on the Top Side of the island is because sadly I did not have much time to do much else, but I did get to enjoy a bar hopping evening with friends and a nice dinner setup for our conference party at the grounds of the Christiansted Fort.

I stayed near Christiansted and transportation to and from town was easy and cheap. All in all, St Croix is a great diving destination and has great opportunities for underwater photography which is my main interest. Hope you enjoy the review and the attached images.
