MV Solomon Star
My wife and I recently had the pleasure to dive with Solomon Islands Dive Expeditions. Trip was fantastic start to finish! Booking was easy and hassle free. When we arrived on board we were personally very warmly welcomed by each member of the staff including "Captain Jack". Our room was a nice size and clean. Food was great! Every day we were treated to "cook to order" eggs, generous lunches, lots of snacks and a wonderful dinner. Robbie, the Head Chef took great pride in his dinner presentations and twice we enjoyed fresh catch seafood. Diving was some of the best I have ever done. The water was crystal clear and warm. In one site called Mary's Bay we could see almost the entire bay from depth. The rays of sunlight filtered down to over 100' and the Coral formations were spectacular! This is a "Must see" site. All of the dive sites were great. The fish were colorful and plentiful, every site had interesting creatures from Crocodile fish to octopus. If you want and exciting trip with super friendly staff, warm weather and clear water I strongly suggest Solomon Islands Dive Expeditions!
