Sumisid Lodge
This is a great little place in the centre of Moalboal , Cebu. It has a great familiy like atmosphere , magnificent kitchen with local specialities as well as european dishes and staff . The diving starts 10 meters in front of the lodge , with great walls . thing to be seen vary from macro ( pgymee seahorse) to massive whalesharks and tresher sharks ). Certainly a place where I want to return to. Also great is the way you can combine trips to Malapascua and Bohol with the same dive operator , Seaquest, which are located on the sumsid premises.
The rooms are small but have everything you need , airco , fan , seperate showers , all rooms come out to the lounge/ dining area.
sumisid staff is welcome to help you moving from Moalboal , to Malapasca and Bohol.
there even is a possibility to start your holiday diving in Moalboal , then doing a 4 day cruise which ends in the Oasis resort in Panglao , Bohol, where you can continue to dive locally . all to be booked through Seaquest.
The seaquest staff are very helpfull , although there english has room for improvement , the dive guide we had knew what he was doing , knew where all the special things could be found.
This is the perfect place for a small group of adventurers .
