I would absolutely recommend this resort to anyone heading to Raja Ampat. You will be greeted by staff from the resort at the airport who will help you get to the ferry. Once you arrive to island, staff from the resort will come on the ferry to get you and take you to the resort. VIP service in my opinion! The resort accommodations are rustic but clean. There is air conditioning which works very well! The first thing I noticed upon arrival was the kindness and welcoming of the owner/staff. They make you feel like you are in a bed and breakfast not a resort. You wake up to a chorus of beautiful birds which was absolutely amazing! The slight crashing of the waves and beautiful blue water are really just paradise. The dive shop and crew are fantastic! They take care of everything including carrying all of your camera equipment and gear to the boat. There is a nice camera room with charging stations. Diving was awesome and the dive masters are very knowledgeable about the area. We also did a trip to the blue river which I highly recommend! The trip to Piaynemo is a must! It’s a 3 tank dive day with great dive sites (Melissa’s Garden is amazing) along with a hike to the famous picture you see when you google Raja Ampat! We went on to a live aboard after the resort and the staff helped us with every detail including contacting the boat so our transfer went smoothly! The food was really delicious! They will bring lunch if you go on the longer trips. This is a perfect location with really good dive sites, friendly staff and great accommodations.

I just returned from a 9 day trip on Mermaid II to Raja Ampat. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. The dive area on the boat was very organized. I can’t say enough great things about the staff on the staff on this boat. Clement is the cruise director and he is fun, friendly, knowledgeable about the area and really organized! His assistants, Luca and Sari are equally wonderful! All of the dive masters are knowledgeable and attentive. I had a hamstring injury 2 weeks prior to my trip and was concerned about not being able to dive. The staff helped with my gear and thankfully I was able to make every dive. The food is amazing! I forgot the name of the sweet lady in the kitchen every day but she also gets 5 stars. Lots of food and snacks. Hot chocolate after the night dive was yummy! They have alcohol on the boat for purchase. The diving was very diverse with beautiful coral. One of the night dives was a muck dive and absolutely incredible! The viz was a little low due to plankton but that just brought more things to see! I would highly recommend this boat! You will not be disappointed. If you are a photographer make sure you bring charging strips with the appropriate adapter. There isn’t a dedicated camera room and charging is limited.
