Very nice resort and facilities. Loved the staff service kitchen porters and dive areas all excellent. Lots of stairs so not for immobile or sedentary. Great pool and pool area. Beautiful views and places to sit and just relax and watch sea, boats, sunset. Rooms spacious. Mine was rather stuffy but others in group had no complaints. My bad luck I guess.

We hired our DM. One on one as two in our group dropped out. Was great as we had different levels of expertise.
I fell in love with this unheralded jewel from day 1 diving the house reef. NEVER expected to see soommany new and incredible macro. Diving was so chill that in the next few days I dove 60 to 70 min dives. Am normally an air hog. I prepared by working on my buoyancy beforehand. Got rid of my split fins. I was so enjoying myself just hanging in the water watching and filming all sorts of "aliens". Like a safari except that I was able to poke my face and watch up close and personal without becoming a meal. I used blue water list and other web sites to compile my list. Figured if mentioned multiple times then must be good. Did not disappoint! Twin rocks, Bebot's, Koala, Secret bay at nite, Sombrero was awesome, Caban cove, Cathedral was so so, kirby's rock and Layag Layag excellent. Mateo was too diehard macro for me. Anilao pier at night too diehard macro for me. Have a microhd and filming these creatures or seeing them were quite challenging. Will bring magnifying glass next time. Mainit bubbles, Arthur's and Minilog were excellent. Got too chilled for planned night dive and no deco times on darned suunto. Otherwise the house reef was supposed to be good for mandarin fish at dusk!, I shall return. I'll be back and all those cliches!!! Anilao rocks.

Nice resort. Great service. On site dive operation with excellent equipment. Well maintained. Food was excellent and tasty. Went with non divers so was able to sample both diving and snorkeling. Incredible snorkeling. Incredible dive sites. You get into small boat and then transfer into bigger boat for some sites. Others you use the smaller houseboat. Regardless, service reigns supreme and we are spoiled to death. As I am a puny 100 lb person those tanks can be a pain. ,I do NOT have to worry at all! Everyone helps you if they think you need help. DM was great guide. Panglao Island kalipayan wall. Frog fish, moray, tail end of whale shark, lots nemofishes. Cathedral site saw TONS of turtles who just ignored us. I didn't have to do anything. Incredible. Marine sanctuary in Balicasag Island had giant beautiful fans. Visibility unlimited. Clear and unspoiled. Incredible value for money.

We bought special deal two for one. Beautiful location with veranda with hammocks overlooking the main island and dolphin show. So relaxing. Diving was excellent with clear clear waters. Great DM who was very helpful. Our first one was so so but thankfully we changed boats.. Well organized operation. Functioned like clockwork. Dives mostly 70ft and more. Wrecks like the Aguila had a resident moray that came and played with the DM. Great spotted eagle rays and turtles. Smaller fishes were present too and nice coral but obviously not as plentiful as Philippines. Food was always three course. With choices usually. Loved all the soups but the rest of the meals were hit or miss. Tipping was quite confusing. People were saying $5 to 10 per dive. Not sure whether they meant each to DM and boat captain. Difficult to figure out how to tip rest of staff. If you want to hand personal do it at least a day before because some of the staff may be off on day you leave.

Top notch operation. Well organized. Surrounded by competent people. Minke whales abound. Humongous potato cods. Tons of flora and fauna. Just tons and tons. If my mouth could hang open in wonder in the water then it would. Beautiful. Disappointed in the not so crystal water. (Less clear than Honduras or Philippines). Excellent food but unfortunately was seasick a few times especially on last two nights when the boat was moving to different locations. Food strongly flavored so can be difficult to keep down. Quite choppy so bring major seasickness pills. Would suggest this is best if one has gained a bit more experience. They do tend to let you dive on your own or if you want they do send a DM with you. In general you are more on your own if you want.
